Annaliesse Kelly has been a fixture in Vancouver’s design scene for more than 20 years, and founded her eponymous firm in 2017. She and her team specialize in luxury residential, commercial and development projects that go beyond aesthetics and fleeting trends, creating spaces that are timeless, functional, and most importantly, feel like home.

AK Design’s work has been featured extensively in the press, including in Western Living, Living Etc., BC Living, Dwell, and more.Throughout her award-winning career, Annaliesse has worked with Canada’s top architectural and interior design firms, in her role as the owner and lead designer at AK Design and, formerly, as an in-house designer and consultant.

From concept through to completion, AK Design guides their clients using dedicated design processes and a clear understanding of construction and a focus on logistics. Annaliesse believes in empowering her team and clients to explore and have fun with design. Through this, their spaces are a true reflection of collaboration, embodying each individual clients’ values and their unique experiences and collections.

Erin’s passion for creative expression merged with technical sensibilities lead her into a career in interior design. After obtaining her Bachelor of Applied Interior Design degree at MRU; Erin went on to work with some of the top residential interior design firms within Calgary and Vancouver. Erin’s instinctual nature allows her to guide clients through the entirety of the design process. She believes the role of an interior designer is to magnify a client’s voice throughout their interior and ultimately be personal.

Maria Walmsley is an accomplished entrepreneur and operations specialist, with over 20 years of experience in every aspect of building thriving businesses. With a knack for juggling project timelines and crunching numbers, she is always sure to keep our projects on track and on budget.

Growing up in British Columbia’s North Shore, Frederique draws inspiration from nature, her French heritage, and travels. Her personal design aesthetic leans towards minimalism with subtle hints of European and vintage elements. Prior to joining AK Design in 2018, Frederique lived in Paris, France studying Art History at the American University of Paris, deepening her passion for architecture and design. She has since earned a Bachelor of Interior Design from Toronto Metropolitan University, strengthening her foundation in the industry.

Growing up on Vancouver Island, Stacy draws inspiration from the natural beauty and tranquil coastal lifestyle of her surroundings. Her passion for architecture led her to work for a prominent Vancouver-based firm, where she specialized in commercial design. Stacy’s style blends modern elements with a relaxed sensibility, creating spaces that are both functional and inviting. Now at AK Design, she’s excited to bring her commercial experience and love for innovative design to residential interiors.

With a background in Environmental Design from the University of Manitoba, Andrea has always been drawn to how well-designed, beautiful spaces can change a person’s mood. She brings a modern and eclectic style to AK Design, pulling inspiration from European architecture and timeless moments throughout history.

Andrea excels at exploring new design ideas that complement each other in creative, stylish ways. Outside of work, she enjoys visiting her summer cottage in Manitoba or cross-country skiing in the wintertime.

Tetiana’s love for architecture and design began in childhood when she crafted homes for her dolls. Born in Ukraine, she honed her skills by studying architecture and urban planning before working in two interior design firms. In 2023, Tetiana commenced on a new chapter, moved to Canada and joined AK Design. Tetiana’s passion lies in producing top-notch, super-realistic renderings. With a deep-rooted enthusiasm for her work, she enjoys creating fresh, unparalleled designs inspired by European architecture.
